Manager on a permanent basis.
Main duties of the job
The Clinical Quality and Governance
Manager will report to the Director of Nursing and Quality and will provide leadership
to the Quality Governance Team. The role
will be an integral part of PC24s wider leadership team providing support
across the organization in relation to clinical quality, governance, and quality
improvement.

- Promote the reporting of all incidents and near misses through
nurturing a culture of continued learning and improvement
- Provide high quality leadership, role modelling and act as an
expert resource to clinical and operational teams in relation to all aspects of
clinical quality and governance
- Be visible and accessible with an approachable presence; to
support, motivate and inspire staff
- Develop and maintain credibility with senior colleagues and
nurture strong partnership working with the clinical and operational teams
- Responsible for the co-ordination of a robust clinical quality
and governance framework within the portfolio, to support the management team
in the delivery of a high quality and safe services
- Support the DON with the leadership and delivery of the
Organisations Clinical Quality and Governance agenda, which includes, patient
experience (complaints and concerns) clinical quality, clinical risk management
and patient safety
- Attend and support the DON (as chair) with the Monthly Clinical
Governance meetings with accountability for high quality agenda papers and
meeting outputs
About
you
- Degree level qualification and / or equivalent
knowledge and experience
- Able to communicate complex aspects of quality
governance in a style that all staff can understand and implement
- Project Management Qualification or equivalent
relevant experience
- Negotiating and influencing skills
- Experience of quality governance work in the
NHS or healthcare setting (desirable)
- Governance training clinical qualification (desirable)
- Clinical risk management qualification (desirable)
- RCA training (desirable)
- Teaching certificate (desirable)
