An exciting opportunity
has arisen for a Facilities Manager to join Willen Hospice, leading our
dedicated Estates, and Housekeeping teams, both at the Hospice and in our
retail operation. In this crucial role, youll manage and develop a responsive
facilities function, ensuring we operate efficiently, safely, and in line with
all regulatory and quality standards.
But more than this, as a senior
leader youll help shape the future of our hospice services, contributing to
our Strategic Plan and driving our sustainability agenda. Youll be a key
member of our Property Committee, helping create a vision for the future of our
estates, delivered through an annual plan and will therefore help create the
future for Willen Hospice.
Main duties of the job
What You'll Do:
- Lead, inspire and develop the facilities team
- Plan strategically, and deliver brilliantly
- Ensure the smooth operation of all estate and support services
- Drive compliance, safety, and sustainability initiatives
- Provide expert advice on facilities planning and new developments
- Work collaboratively with other leaders to shape and deliver the Hospice
Strategic Plan.

palliative care to people who have advanced disease, caring for people in our
