We have a new and exciting opportunity to join our team at Keech Hospice Care for a Clinical Coach who will provide coaching, mentoring and pastoral support to our hospice care staff who are at the start of their careers, are newly appointed or transitioning roles within the hospice.

Main duties of the job

Clinical coaches will work across all areas of the care directorate using a coaching model. You will provide essential professional advice, education and guidance and passing on their skills and knowledge. Working with an allocated clinician with one hour coaching per month in person or virtually. We envisage that each coach may support 1 to 3 staff each month. The clinical coach role is an experienced health and social care professional who has extensive experience in practice and advanced within your career. You will be helping newly qualified nurses, AHPs and those in other clinical roles by imparting your knowledge, skills and experience through coaching and supporting them in the early stages of their career or in a transition to a more senior role. You will have experience within palliative care in hospice, community, or acute services for either adults or children, with an understanding of roles and competences with clinical services within a hospice.
