People Unlimited are seeking a freelance Marketing & Communications Specialist to join the We Can Talk team. We Can Talk is an award-winning education programme that supports healthcare staff across more than 70 NHS acute trusts in providing confident, compassionate care for patients with mental health needs. As we prepare to launch an exciting new offer for both current and new NHS trusts, were seeking a skilled freelancer to help shape and deliver key marketing materials. This is an opportunity to have a real impact on the healthcare sector, working with a trusted brand that makes a difference in hospitals across the UK.
You will need to attend a kick-off meeting at our office base in Kent or London, with some in-person collaboration required, but the majority of the work will be remote. Were looking for someone with capacity to work flexibly and be available throughout October/Novemberto deliver these key projects.

Main duties of the job
As a freelance marketing and communications specialist, your primary focus will be to support the successful launch of our new offer to NHS acute trusts. Your duties will include:
Updating our website landing page to reflect the new offer, ensuring clear and engaging messaging for both decision-makers and frontline staff.
Developing key marketing materials aimed at NHS trust leaders, such as a concise summary document and a 10-slide presentation deck to be used in discussions with board-level stakeholders.
Adapting marketing materials for influencers within NHS trusts, including team leaders and managers, with additional resources like email templates and presentation slides to help them advocate for the service.
Creating a targeted email campaign for our 30,000 current subscribers, designed to introduce them to the new offer and encourage continued engagement.
These projects are critical for our upcoming launch, and you will play a central role in shaping how We Can Talk communicates its value to NHS partners.

Adapt the decision-maker materials for senior leaders and frontline influencers, creating supporting materials such as an email template and additional slides to help them advocate for the service within their teams.
Email Campaign for Existing Subscribers:
Create and manage a targeted Mailchimp email campaign for our 30,000 existing subscribers. This campaign will introduce them to the new offer, encourage engagement, and include an accompanying FAQs document to address any questions or concerns.
