Job summary
People Unlimited are seeking a consultant Senior Research Analyst with strong analytical skills and experience in longitudinal data analysis, ideally within public health or epidemiology to join the We Can Talk team. The successful candidate will have coding skills in SQL and be proficient in a programming language such as R or Python. They should also have experience working with real-world data, particularly in healthcare or HR, and be skilled in creating dashboards using tools like Power BI or Tableau.
We are looking for someone to join the team on a consultancy basis, with an hourly rate agreed based on Agenda for Change banding (plus an uplift for holiday/pension). We expect the opportunity over the next 3-6 months to be up to 10 hours per month, occasionally in-person in London (travel/food paid) but primarily remotely. As our team is primarily freelance workers, with jobs in the NHS or education sectors, we are a genuineily flexible place to work.
Main duties of the job
This is an exciting time time to influence and help build the future of We Can Talk. The successful candidate will lead on:
Updating our core question sets as our data approach moves to shorter, more frequent opportunities to capture user experience
Improving our data warehouse integration with our Learning Management System (LMS) to provide more robust visualisation of data and trends
Identifying new ways to communicate the longitudinal change for our learners (on new and existing data sets) through publication
You will report to the Director of We Can Talk and will lead and manage your own work from the outset.
About us
We Can Talk (www.wecantalk.online) is transforming how hospital staff feel about mental health through education. Last year, we delivered e-learning to 10,000 NHS staff, with a goal of reaching 100,000 in the next three years. Since 2020, we have delivered over 50,000 hours of self-directed online education and hold the largest database in the world of hospital staff experience of mental health at work. We have also supported more than 50 quality improvement initiatives led by staff to activate change on the clinical frontline. All of our education is co-produced (co-designed and co-delivered) by people with lived experience, hospital staff and mental health professionals.
