Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join our People Services Team whosupport all the administrative functions of people services with a specific remit to assist the Learning & Development team.

The L&D team provide a full end-to-end learning and development service to NLH staff while also as acting as a learning resource to the community and clinical community externally, delivering a range of multidisciplinary education programmes that are available across local health and social care organisations. The L&D team is a commercial contributor to the hospice and its continuing success.

The main objective of this role is to deliver an effective and competent level of administrative support to the L&D team and and the wider People Services team to aid the delivery of an effective learning and development service throughout the Hospice.

Main duties of the job

As a member of the People Services team you will successfully support the people across Learning & Development, HR and Volunteering activity. This role will specifically support the L&D team and ensure learners have a positive and productive learning experience.

The post holder will be based at the NLH Finchley in accordance with our hybrid working policy (usually c60% office and c40% homeworking) dependent on the needs of the business. They may however be required to travel to NLH additional sites in Enfield and Haringey.

Providing vital income for our charity are our 17 retail stores across North London, that, alongside our active fundraising team, generate much of the funds needed to run our services.
