Location: Northampton 12 months Fixed Term Contract Full-Time / flexible working

The Role

You will be responsible for leading the HR Systems Team and the co-ordination and management of a high-quality electronic rostering service.

You will provide leadership, system expertise and support the development, implementation and maintenance of the Allocate rostering system, identifying opportunities for efficiencies and continuous improvement.

You will oversee the team, support decisions regarding system set-up, design, and related processes to ensure the delivery of the best rostering practices across all staff groups within the Charity.

You will work collaboratively with operational departments and teams, promoting best practice, ensuring safe and robust rosters and accurate quality payroll data.

Main duties of the job

Your key responsibilities will include:

Managing the HR Systems Team, leading a high quality, motivated, and successful team who provide first class eRostering service.

Managing the ongoing maintenance of Allocate for the Charity, co-ordinate and oversee business expectations and user requirements.

Managing and supporting process improvements, working closely with Operational and IT colleagues to ensure successful implementation.

Managing significant business critical and/or complex system and data projects, ensuring solutions strategically align, meet the needs of the business and move seamlessly into BAU

Proactively keep ahead of system developments, implement system improvements, keeping significant focus on change management and service modernisation.

Understand the interdependencies between the Human Resources HR and Payroll system, ensuring the stakeholders understand before any system changes are actioned.

Advise on highly complex issues to achieve agreeable outcomes including complex pay queries.

Chairing regular Allocate Working Group meetings, designed to encourage open communication on the effective use of HealthRoster, agree actions, address issues collaboratively, agree and implement change.
