Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic registered professional with significant safeguarding experience to lead our Safeguarding Team.
Main duties of the job
As part of the central safeguarding team, the Named Professional will be a key leader and will be responsible for the delivery and monitoring of safeguarding procedures. This will include the provision of specialised advice and expert knowledge/training to staff, peers, other professionals and multi-agency partners on all aspects of safeguarding children and adults.

- The successful candidate will have excellent organisational and communication skills and ability to use their initiative.
- You will be a Registered Professional with a degree or equivalent in a health related subject combined with extensive clinical experience. With this experience, you will be able to demonstrate deep knowledge of safeguarding vulnerable adults, children and young people.
- Ideally you should meet the specification to undertake the duties and responsibilities of the Named Professional as described in the Intercollegiate Document.
- If you like a challenge and are focused and motivated to deliver the highest quality expert advice, support and training then this post could be for you. For the right candidate we can consider the post at 0.8 WTE to allow a clinical caseload to be maintained.
