In this role you will deliver outstanding customer service ensuring our the relationships we have with our external stakeholders and partners are positive and responsive. Working in partnership with commissioners, case managers and referrers, you will ensure that we are operating to maximise positive outcomes for those people we care for and support.

You will ensure we maximise utilisation of current and future service offers and enhance the Charity’s positive reputation whilst becoming the provider of choice for our customers and partners.

Main duties of the job

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and nurturing strategic, commercial and reputation enhancing relationship to meet our critical strategic and financial objectives
  • Developing strategies and plans for our key partners and customers including Providers Collaboratives, Integrated Care Systems and NHS England
  • Promoting the Charity, its service offers and the positive work we do to increase awareness, enhance reputation and optimise service utilisation and new business opportunities
  • Optimising utilisation of services with intelligent and collaborative forecasting and planning, and responding to changes in commissioner requirements and the needs of people
  • Ensuring admissions to our services are made in a timely, customer focussed manner whilst minimising periods of non-utilisation
  • Overseeing and managing the contracts life cycle ensuring appropriate contracts are in place for clinical service delivery and that we fulfil our contractual obligations
  • Managing the annual contractual negotiations with our NHS, CCG and other customers

You’ll have excellent analytical skills and the ability to take data, information, concepts and ideas to produce credible insights and proposals, as well as a good understanding of the health and social care operating context.

You’ll also have an in depth understanding of the key contractual mechanisms required by the NHS including tender development and submission.

You will have the integrity to challenge the status quo and improve care quality. You will have a strong history of innovation, and the communication and influencing skills to engage with senior internal and external stakeholders.

  • St Andrews Healthcare has reviewed its approach to COVID vaccination and our procedure remains that for the safety and wellbeing of our patients and staff, all new starters joining the Charity will be required to provide evidence to our Occupational Health team that they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Where there is a medical exemption this will need to be provided as part of the Occupational Health check. New starters to the Charity will not be able to commence work without evidence being provided.
