St Andrews Healthcare have an exciting opportunity for Nurses who no longer hold active NMC registration or those who have had a period away from the profession to Return to Practice.
St Andrews Healthcare have developed a part-time RtP programme that will enable you to engage with practice development, work-based learning and study through the University of Northampton, to regain NMC registration or meet the requirements of NMC revalidation.
Although St Andrews Healthcare is known for its mental health expertise, we are actually inviting RtP applicants from those who are Mental Health/ Learning Disability, Adult/Enrolled or Childrens Pathways. We are able to offer nursing placements and support in many of these areas. This part-time programme (22.5 Hrs /week) will enable you to complete:
- Designated University study days on an NMC approved programme (fully funded)
- RtP learning in practice
- Exposure learning in practice in a supporting role
- Pastoral support
Main duties of the job
- We will work with you to match you to a clinical/nursing environment that is aligned to your previous knowledge, skills and expertise. We want you to feel supported and develop your confidence as a Nurse. You will be able to earn £24,360 per annum, pro rata whilst completing the programme. Your RtP tuition fees will be paid by Health Education England. The programme is planned to commence 15th January 2024 and typically takes between 6-9 months to complete. We are confident that those who complete the programme will want to join our exceptional nursing teams. Therefore, on successful completion of the programme and relevant recruitment checks we will offer you employment at St Andrews Healthcare. This is also a fantastic opportunity if you wish to transition to a healthcare organisation specialising in mental health and complex care.
If you are a Nurse who continues to hold NMC registration but has not practiced for a period, we also want to hear from you. We will work with you to rebuild you knowledge, skills and confidence.
