Job summary
The role of Playworker is in place to provide child specific play and activity as per their play plans to enable children, young people and their siblings to achieve their maximum potential within their own homes, community settings and within Grove House services. You will work from Grove House, St Albans however working at all Rennie Grove offices is required and you may also be required to visit individuals in their own homes so a car and driving licence will be essential.
Hours: 22.5 hours per week
Salary: Rennie Grove Band 3 £18,921- £22,333 per annum (pro rata).

- Promote an awareness of the emotional needs of children and the importance of play within the multidisciplinary team.
- Work flexibly in partnership with parents, carers, care staff and others in the Play team, encouraging positive play experiences and modelling use of resources.
- Promote the Rennie Grove philosophy within the local community.

- GCSE English & Maths grade A-C or equivalent
- Paediatric First Aid Certificate or willingness to undertake
