Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week, 5 days

Base: Witham Health Centre, 4 Mayland Road, Witham, CM8 2UX

Salary: £22,816 to £24,336 per annum

Main duties of the job

What are we looking for?

The post holder will be responsible for recording and managing the receipt of referrals into a range of dental services provided by Community Dental Services CIC. They will ensure that the Service responds appropriately to set criteria that patients are seen for care within the Services' agreed time frame. They will be the main point of contact for employees, patients and general dental practitioners.

Applicants will have experience of providing effective administrative support and will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages. They will be able to use appropriate software to manipulate data, produce documents, reports and have a knowledge of data protection, data security and a clear understanding of confidentiality.

The post holder will be responsible for the referrals process from a central base in Witham and may be required to visit clinics in order to manage this function, car users are therefore desirable. There may also be the requirement to undertake other administrative duties to support colleagues or at times of annual leave or sickness absence.
