Base : Hucknall Health Centre, 54 Curtis Street, Hucknall, Nottingham, NG15 7JE

Remote/Hybrid working

Salary: £27,055 to £32,934 per annum

Community Dental Services CIC (CDS) have a vacancy for a dynamic Oral Health Improvement professional to join our team, to co-ordinate activities provided as part of the oral health improvement strategy being delivered across Nottinghamshire.

Main duties of the job

What are we looking for?

You will plan and deliver a high standard of oral health improvement programmes both universally and to targeted higher risk groups across Nottinghamshire, in line with Delivering Better Oral Health (PHE 2014).

You will have a good knowledge of the theory and practice of health improvement. Teaching, training and/or community development experience is required and "train the trainer" skills are essential. A dental background is not necessary as training will be provided.

Excellent communication skills, proficient IT ability, along with analytical skills, imagination, drive and determination are key attributes.

The post holder must be able to travel throughout Nottinghamshire and across CDS locations, therefore a current driving licence and ability to travel is essential.
