Job summary

The purpose of this role is to lead the marketing and communications across the organisation and establish Here an indispensable innovators within the national health and care system. This role is a 0.6 WTE, permanent role, working flexible between our offices in Brighton and from home.

This role will form part of our newly set up Strategy and Innovation Team (SIT) at Here. The SIT’s purpose is to enable growth across the organisation. SIT is responsible for Discovery, Sharing Learning, Creating Curiosity, Building Capability Building Sustainability and Supporting Mobilisation around our growth strategy. Other members of the SIT include Director of Strategy and Innovation, Head of Strategy and Innovation, Project and Development Coordinator, Development and Mobilisation Lead. It is an exciting time to join this team as we look to create new ways of working across Here to enable everyone to thrive.

Main duties of the job

You will lead on:

  • Creation and delivery of the marketing and communications strategy for the organisation
  • Delivering senior marketing and communication tasks i.e. press and PR relationships, stakeholder engagement, developing external relationships to attract new opportunities
  • Supporting Here service and care teams to create and delivery marketing and comms tasks and activity plans
  • Develop and monitor impact and success measures for marketing and communications
  • You will own the Here marketing channels.

Lead marketing and communications across the organisation

Work with Marketing leads in each service to develop the overall Marketing and Communications strategy

Work with Marketing lead for each service and brand to create their marketing and communications strategy aligned with the overall Here strategy

Lead on developing the Here marketing tone of voice and working with each service to develop a consistent tone of voice across all functions

Develop press and PR contacts for external communications of Here as a service innovator in the health and care sector

Ensure consistency of brand message across all channels

Develop our narrative and communications around our purpose and value proposition

Marketing and communications tasks:

Develop press and PR relationships and create communications

Develop relationships to secure speaking opportunities for key Here people and attract potential partners

Create stakeholder engagement plan

Develop Here creative strategy for new ideas to communicate about Here products and services

Own the Here website and communications channels

Create overall Here Marketing plan and coordinate with service Marketing Leads

Monitor competitors and market

Create, manage and monitor the Here marketing and communications budget

Support for service Marketing Leads

Support each service to create their marketing and communications plans

Ensure each marketing lead has their channels in place

Lead on marketing and communications messaging for each service

Be a mentor to Service Marketing leads (they have their own line Managers) Mentor Service Leads to proactively develop marketing and comms skills and competencies in Service teams

Host regular marketing and comms meetings, bringing together marketing leads from across the organisation to develop ideas and share learning

Product sponsor for Service level websites and channels – ensuring they are working in service of one organisational purpose

Work with developers to lead on the iterations of our website suite and product platform infrastructure of the organisation to be connected and clear

Impact, learning and reach

Develop and monitor KPIs to measure impact, reach and effectiveness of marketing and communications

Analyse consumer / stakeholder behaviour and determine personas

Monitor effectiveness of marketing and communications at Here and suggest improvements

Write reports for key meetings to share learning and progress
