HR Administrator

Job summary

This role will provide HR administrative support to the 3 Practices and the PCN across the Copeland area which includes Whitehaven, Cleator Moor, Egremont and Seascale. You will work closely the management team ensuring all of the HR administration activity is completed in a timely manner and to a high standard. You will be an experienced administrator who is organised and professional who is able to co-ordinate a wide range of tasks often within tight timescales and work well under pressure. This is a varied and interesting role and an exciting time to be joining the team where we are striving to make a real difference to the delivery of primary care services across Copeland.

Main duties of the job

You will be responsible for providing HR administration in a timely manner and to a high standard. This will include:

  • Administration of the recruitment process including publishing job adverts, co-ordinating interviews, issuing contracts and completing pre-employment checks
  • Updating information in the HR system including inputting new starter information, amendments to records and processing leavers
  • Carrying out audits of HR data to ensure information is up to date and correct
  • Co-ordinating the on-boarding of new starters
  • Preparing and submitting payroll forms
  • Recording of sickness and other absence information into the HR system and supporting managers with the coordination of return to work interviews and sickness review meetings.

(NCPC) is a GP led, not for profit company where all of our GPs are employees, meaning that all financial risks, responsibilities and liabilities sit with our not for profit limited company, not with the individual partners. Our organisation is led collaboratively, with an efficient head office support function.

We run 6 practices across 16 sites covering geography from Carlisle across to Workington and Whitehaven and down to Bootle. Delivering services to a patient population of c100,000 people we employ c430 staff.
