has a key role in developing and implementing the clinical and business
strategy for NCPC.

Working as part of
a collective leadership group of Directors, Associate Directors, and GP Leads
at PCN, locality and practice level to provide leadership and oversight of
services across the organisation as well as building external relationships and
contributing to system wide work across North Cumbria.
About us
North Cumbria Primary Care Ltd. (NCPC) is a clinically-led,
not for profit company, where all of our GPs are employees, meaning that all
financial risks, responsibilities and liabilities sit with our not for profit
limited company, rather than with individual partners. Our organisation is led
collaboratively, with an efficient head office support function.
We run 6 practices across 16 sites in North Cumbria - from
Carlisle across to Workington and Whitehaven, and down to Bootle. Delivering
services to a patient population of about 100,000 people, we are members of 3 PCNs,
employ 430 staff and work collaboratively across the practices, seeking to work
at scale where this is of benefit. We
have a strong focus on training for all clinical roles represented in our
clinical team, and a philosophy of growing our own. We are already developing strong links with the
Pears Cumbria School of Medicine, which has its first intake of medical students
in September 2025.
