Job summary

We are looking for experienced, compassionate and organised people to provide a high quality, recovery focused support to our clients who have a range of mental health needs as well as other support needs including learning disabilities, physical health issues and substance misuse, whilst promoting independence and social inclusion

Main duties of the job

Duties to include: * To deliver emotional support, advice and guidance via face to face, telephone, and video. * To assess a situation to determine risk and the needs of the person accessing support. * To make decisions under pressure whilst communicating with the person accessing support. * To accurately record new contacts and details of visits and calls on relevant electronic systems. * To work in line with performance targets and key contractual requirements, providing data and case studies as requested. * To advise and be actively involved in individual risk assessment and review. * Where identified, an appropriate action plan/safety plan will be put in place to meet individual's needs. * To encourage those accessing support to recognise, understand and manage factors that affect their mental well being and physical health * To work with a range of partners and external agencies to meet individual's needs and support with individual safety and delivery of the service.

Job Title: Crisis Recovery Worker Contract Type: Fixed term until 31st March 2026 Hours: 25hrs per week - 6.00pm to 12:00am Could you make Mental Health Matter? Are you looking for a role where you can have a positive impact on the lives of people living with mental health needs, then this could be the role for you! We are looking for experienced, compassionate and organised people to provide a high quality, recovery focused support to our clients who have a range of mental health needs as well as other support needs including learning disabilities, physical health issues and substance misuse, whilst promoting independence and social inclusion. Job Purpose: To provide safe and effective management of a team/s within MHM's portfolio of Community Matters services, ensuring high quality service delivery to clients.
