Job summary
Our people are critical to the success of Mental Health Matters (MHM) and our ability to deliver our organisational strategy. The purpose of the role is to work as a member of the Executive Team, providing leadership of the People Plan to continue driving sustainable cultural change and organisational development. The role brings together the leadership for the People and OD function together with responsibility for the workforce strategy and organisational development initiatives.
Main duties of the job
To help shape and lead the development of the culture in MHM, acting as a role model to the organisation. 2 Work collaboratively as a member of the Executive Team, bringing own professional knowledge and advice to the group. 3 Contribute to and support the organisation's strategy and business planning by developing and implementing a forward-thinking People Plan which supports and enables the Organisation to deliver against its People objectives. 4 Lead and advise on the development, design and implementation of management and support practices, including flexible methods of working, which enable a geographically disparate organisation that operates services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. 5 Be responsible for identifying and mitigating risk within your area of control through effective risk management processes, informing the Corporate Risk Register and contributing to the Compliance Plan. 6 Working with the CEO, take responsibility for the organisation's pay strategy. 7 Plan, direct and supervise all activities relating to the administration and maintenance of pay and employee benefits programmes. 8 Implement control and approaches in a manner that ensures cost effectiveness, market competitiveness and internal equity among employees.
