This will include one to one engagement and facilitating group-based activities, sign posting and engaging people in mainstream provision. You will have an understanding of working with people with a variety of complex needs including mental health, learning, physical and substance misuse would be an advantage for this post. Your knowledge of working within a community-based service is essential and will have equipped you with the relevant communication and interpersonal skills required for the role. It is essential that you hold a Health and Social Care level 2 or level 3 and be willing to develop further as the role requires.
