Job summary
You will have an understanding of working with people with a variety of complex needs including mental health, learning, physical and substance misuse would be an advantage for this post. It is essential that you hold a NVQ Health and Social Care level 2 or level 3 and be willing to develop further as the role requires.
Main duties of the job
Everything about MHM is people focused, our people are central to delivering the highest quality of service and care to our clients. Our Newcastle Supported Housing service promotes mental health recovery by delivering targeted support, with the aim of helping people progress to more independent living. The people who live here are generally supported for up to 9hrs per week, with some flexibility, depending on their needs. As well as a range of mental health needs, clients may also have other support needs such as learning disabilities, physical health issues and substance misuse.
