Job summary

As a Crisis Recovery Worker, working within a small team, you will be required to provide a high quality, recovery focused service to our clients who have a range of mental health and autistic traits as well as other support needs including learning disabilities, physical health issues and substance misuse, whilst promoting independence and social inclusion. With experience of working within a community based, mental health setting, you should be able to inspire, engage and motivate people.

Main duties of the job

You will work alongside our Peer Support Workers (PSW) to achieve the best person-centred care with the people who use our service for their recovery, whether that be joint working with other services to support them. You will also work closely with mental health primary and secondary care, emergency services, partners agencies. We are a non-clinical service, providing support to reduce immediate distress to those at risk of self-harm, suicide or experiencing trauma. Our service provides information, safety planning and signposting for clients, their families and carers to meet their holistic needs.

Hours: 3 x CRW positions 24h available - flexible hours Salary: £15,974.40 per annum, with progression to 27,560 per annum all part time positions will be Pro Rata. Location: Sheffield Support Hub, 44 Bank Street, Sheffield, S1 2DS The Sheffield Support Hub offers free mental health support to anyone in the Sheffield over the age of 16 in a safe and supportive environment.
