Job summary
We are seeking a qualified and motivated High Intensity Psychological Therapist to join our team. The post holders will provide high intensity interventions - predominantly Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). They will work with clients who have a range of complex Anxiety and Depression related problems for which CBT is demonstrated to be clinically effective.
Main duties of the job
You will hold a Clinical Qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy; typically the Post-Graduate Diploma in CBT or in High Intensity Psychological Therapies. We also welcome applications from candidates who have other Post-Graduate qualifications in an NHS Talking therapies appropriate evidence based therapy. We welcome applications from trainees approaching formal qualification in any of the above. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to work within a high volume, performance managed service, manage your own caseload and time and be an effective communicator both in written and verbal communication.
