An exciting opportunity has arisen in Warrington NHS Talking Therapies for a Clinical Lead to support the delivery of our clinical services in Warrington. Our team consists of a range of Psychological therapists working across steps 2, 3 and 4 delivering NICE evidenced talking therapies. Treatment is delivered by telephone, in groups, face to face and using digital therapy options.

MHM has been delivering NHS Talking Therapies in Warrington for over 10 years and is a well established and well respected local NHS Talking Therapies provider. The role of Clinical Lead provides strategic clinical leadership of the service and is jointly responsible with the service manager in the planning, development and delivery of a high quality, responsive and accessible NHS Talking Therapies service.

About the role Based in our Warrington NHS Talking Therapies service, MHM has been delivering Talking Therapies in Warrington for over 10 years and is a well established and well respected local NHS Talking Therapy provider. The role of Clinical Lead provides strategic clinical leadership of the service and is jointly responsible with the service manager in the planning, development and delivery of a high quality, responsive and accessible NHS Talking Therapies service. About you You will represent MHM at local, regional and national level by building relationships with the CCG, partner agencies and clinical forums. This role is ideal for passionate and creative individuals who are excited by clinical service development, supporting staff and delivering gold standard care in an NHS Talking Therapies setting. You will hold a clinical qualification; Clinical/Counselling Psychology OR a professional qualification in core mental health such as RMN. You'll also be accredited with the BABCP as a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist and be qualified in at least one other model of psychological therapy.   • Qualified as a High Intensity Therapist for a minimum of 1 year
  • Or
  • Qualified as a CBT Therapist for a minimum of 1 year And
  • Be accreditable with BABCP as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist

Experience

Essential

  • Demonstrable in-depth knowledge of stepped care and learnt through experience of working in an NHS Talking Therapies service.
  • Experience of working with a variety of client groups, presenting with a range co-morbid depression and anxiety disorders
  • Able to maintaining a high degree of professionalism in the face of highly emotive and distressing problems.
  • Experience of providing NICE and NHS Talking Therapies compliant clinical supervision.
  • Experience of writing psychological assessment and discharge reports.
