Job summary
Central Camden Primary Care Network (PCN) are seeking a Data Quality & Services Administrator to attain high standards of data quality and support the delivery of services within the PCN.
Central Camden PCN are a group of 9 member practices who work together at scale and collaborate with others in the local health and social care system. The PCN is highly innovative and delivers services with support from the GP Federation, Camden Health Evolution (CHE) Ltd, that aim to improve the quality of care and outcomes for their patients.
Previous experience working within the NHS is desirable for this role. Opportunities for professional development are included within this role.
This is a fixed-term contract in line with the NHSE PCN Directed Enhanced Service (DES) which runs until 31st March 2024. This date will be extended in line with the NHSE PCN DES contract.
Main duties of the job
The Data Quality &
Services Administrator will work with the PCN executive team and member practices
to attain high standards of data quality and administrative support.
The post-holder will be
experienced in using EMIS Web and will be required to construct and run PCN
and practice-level searches. Other duties will include but are not limited to
audits, data entry and reconciliation, data reporting and data cleansing. In
addition, the post-holder will be required to carry out a range of
administration tasks for the PCN and
PCN member practices (e.g. call/recall).

Camden Health Evolution (CHE) Ltd is a GP Federation which supports Central Camden Primary Care Network (PCN). There are 9 member practices in Central Camden PCN with a registered population of circa 80,000 patients.
All practices are members of CHE GP Federation and share the vision, mission and values of the Federation and its key priorities

- Support clinicians to undertake quality improvement audits and activities.
- Monitor key metrics and milestones; and provide timely project / service data to the PCN executive team.
Quality Improvement
- Prepare and produce reports, spreadsheets, and presentations as required.
- Construct and run searches using the clinical system, EMIS Web.
- Interpret and input data for audit purposes.
- Review the completeness and accuracy of data entered in clinical systems.
- Support the CHE / PCN team with data reconciliation.
- Perform data quality checks and undertake, or direct, the correction of any errors.
- Regular monitoring and reporting of key performance indicators for PCN services and PCN member practices
- Write data quality related policies and user guides for PCN services.
- Provide specialist data quality knowledge to PCN member practices.
Administrative Support
- Support PCN member practices with patient call/recall through texts, telephone, and letters.
- Use a range of software systems to support the delivery of PCN services.
- Obtain, collate, and evaluate patient feedback.
- Maintain internal and external distribution lists.
Communication
- Effective communication with CHE / PCN team and PCN member practices.
- Provide clear and regular updates to the executive team.
- Use spreadsheets and data collection systems to collect, audit and present data as requested.
- Send out mail merges, bulk texts, etc. to patients for a number of campaigns, i.e., flu vaccinations.
- Provide training to staff as required, ensuring the effective use of systems.
- Deal with telephone and email enquiries, and patient call backs in a timely and proficient manner.
