Job summary

The role is specifically to provide support on rota management for the company in conjunction with the Resources team.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will need to work both autonomously, and as part of the team. They should also provide effective, and comprehensive administrative support to the Rotas & Resources Manager, this will include running reports, managing workload and proactively dealing with issues.

The post holder needs to ensure they are aware of the extensive duties, with flexibility, initiative, and enthusiasm.

Job description

Job responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities:

- Create accurate rotas to ensure that all areas of the service are covered by clinicians and operational staff.

- Use shift pattern information to ensure that shifts are correctly resourced.

- Calling employees to arrange shifts.

- Finalise rotas on a long-term basis as well as arranging immediate cover when required.

- Arrange training and inductions making sure that all staff are up to date with training, and they are compliant.

- Liaise with all teams to ensure vacancies are covered as efficiently as possible. Contacting doctors directly if any urgent cover is required.

- Build relationships with newly appointed team members prior to start date relevant checks are complete.

- Produce an induction timetable.

- To receive and respond effectively to annual leave and study leave requests from all team members ensuring the sign off process is followed.

Other Requirements:

- Ability to work in a fasted paced environment with priorities changing frequently.

- Value diversity in the workplace.

- Positively represent the Resources team and EBPC at all times.

- High standards must be maintained in all dealings with team members and non EBPC personnel to ensure that a professional image of EBPC is preserved at all times.

- An EBPC Resources Administrator is required to adopt a flexible approach.

- You are required to maintain a mutually supportive working relationship with all EBPC team members.

- EBPC maintains a no smoking policy on premises and grounds.
