Hope House Children’s Hospices have an opportunity for a Nurse to join our team based in Oswestry. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis. In return, our Nurse will receive a competitive salary of between:

£29,697 – £44,085 per annum, full time equivalent (dependant on experience)

Main duties of the job

Hope House Children’s Hospice has an exciting opportunity for a registered Nurse (Children’s Nurses or Adult Nurses (RN) with paediatric experience) to join our care team to provide excellent specialist palliative and end of life care to children and young people. You will be a self-motivated and compassionate nurse working as part of a supportive team to provide holistic care to children and young people with complex, life-limiting conditions.

About the Nurse role:

Hope House Children’s Hospice has an exciting opportunity for a registered Nurse (Children’s Nurses or Adult Nurses (RN) with paediatric experience) to join our care team to provide excellent specialist palliative and end of life care to children and young people. You will be a self-motivated and compassionate nurse working as part of a supportive team to provide holistic care to children and young people with complex, life-limiting conditions.

Whether you are an experienced nurse looking for a new challenge, or a newly qualified nurse with a passion for palliative care, we are committed to the development of our employees and will offer you a comprehensive training package. As a valued member of our team, you will be providing care to children and young people who have been diagnosed with life limiting illnesses, examples include cancer, cystic fibrosis, Batten Disease, Muscular Dystrophy and cerebral palsy. You will have the compassion and communication skills to put the needs of the child and their family at the heart of everything you do, so that we are able to provide the right care and support for them, when they need us most.

  • Demonstrates an understanding of the needs of children and young people with life-limiting conditions and children’s palliative care
