Job summary

Our team holds a range of therapeutic modalities, all of which add value and allow us to respond to our clients needs. We welcome clinicians from all backgrounds and across all fields of interest. We are looking for individuals who are deeply committed and progressive in their approach and want to bring conceptions of mental health into the 21st century.

At The Retreat, you will be expected to work with clients presenting with a wide range and complexity of psychological problems, individually or as a group, to provide psychological therapy and assessment services.

Main duties of the job

You will work in partnership with Senior Clinicians and the Clinical Lead to assess new referrals by appropriate treatment models, as well as managing a caseload, in keeping with our operational goals. You will be responsible for your own professional self-regulation and accreditation, as well as abide by the legal requirements and statutory rules relating to practice. You will use appropriate and agreed evaluation and outcome measures, with the opportunity to reflect in regular team meetings.

You will have access to clinical supervision and we will support you to engage in promotional and educational activity so that our work can reach the people who need it most.

The role is supported by a dedicated, inspiring and passionate team, who will value your achievements and support you to achieve your goals. The Retreat is committed to uplifting its colleagues, with visible leadership and a culture of empowerment.

About us

The Retreat is an organisation that is steeped in history, yet with its sights firmly on the future - of those we serve, and of mental healthcare more generally. We believe in providing specialist, highly tailored interventions in a way that will support our clients to achieve the life they want. We have built a diverse and talented team around these ideals, with complementing professional backgrounds - we are excited to expand the team through recruitment of a Senior Clinician/Psychologist.

Please attach a covering letter detailing how you meet the criteria and what specific qualities you feel you can bring to this role.
