We have an amazing opportunity to join the dynamic and experienced team of professionals at TFP Oxford Fertility, the flagship clinic of the TFP Group. We are looking for a driven, dynamic, and hands-on Medical Director and Person Responsible who will lead the clinic alongside the General Manager and the clinic leadership team to new and exciting levels to become the leading clinic in the UK and Europe.

The Medical Director is responsible for delivering and maintaining the highest standard of clinical and patient care within the clinic, alongside supporting its commercial success.

As we continue to grow the business, identify new and exciting opportunities and expand the research and teaching programme with the University of Oxford, for the highly acclaimed MSC course. The role holder will be responsible for managing this key partnership that creates impact for our business, our patients and the team.

Main duties of the job

This role is a combination of Clinical expertise, mentoring and coaching, leadership and management, patient care and service, and supporting the GM in running the business against KPIs and being part of an amazing leadership team.

The clinical element will be hands on, being fully involved in the roster to cover egg collections, Embryo transfers, IUIs, transvaginal ultrasound scanning, Initial and follow up consultations. Manage situations in the clinic that are not covered by SOPSs. There will be participation in the on-call roster for out-of-hour queries and weekend sessions.

We are looking for a hands-on team player who can help to lead and guide the clinical teams in clinic, working together to achieve the groups vision, mission, and strategy into best practice to ensure excellent patient satisfaction and feedback, with the objective to continuously grow the pipeline into Oxford and its satellites.

It is important to understand the patients needs and expectations as well as emerging trends in the fertility space to continuously develop and optimise best practice.

The relationship with The University of Oxford is a long standing one, incorporating lecturing, research projects, examination board, but we have the opportunity to expand on this and work even more closely with them in the future, so an interest in expanding this affiliation and relationship is a key part of the Medical Directors role.
