Job summary

We are looking to appoint a Fundraising & Lottery Admin Assistant on a fixed term contract for 12 months to cover maternity leave. Fundraising & Lottery Admin Assistant will support the work of the fundraising and lottery office. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills and be able to make hospice supporters feel valued and appreciated. You will have good organisational skills and be able to juggle admin tasks to ensure all calls, emails and letters and dealt with efficiently. Good IT skills are essential.

Main duties of the job

Act as the first point of contact for supporters, volunteers and the general public, handling queries via email, telephone and in person.

Provide administrative support to the fundraising and lottery team.

Salary: Salary for this role is £7,658-£7,966 per annum (pro rata of 18,865- £19,651 per annum).

Hours: We are looking to appoint one part time person to cover maternity leave for 12 months, to the role of Fundraising & Lottery Admin Assistant. The role is 15 hours per week, preferred days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Working hours will be approximately 9.30am 3.00pm with a 30 min unpaid lunch break.

  • Previous experience of providing administrative support in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Experience of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and other software systems.
