Dougie Mac are currently looking to recruit
Clinical Nurse Specialists who share our passion in providing excellent,
personalised and compassionate care to patients and their families within our newly
restructured community team.
At Dougie Mac our vision is to be
admired as a centre of excellence for palliative and end of life care. Our many
different services provide patients, their families and carers, with physical,
emotional, social, psychological and spiritual support, at home, or here at the
Hospice.
Main duties of the job
The right candidate will possess
excellent communication and organisational skills, a motivation for continual
learning and sharing of knowledge, with the drive to ensure our patients
receive the highest possible standard of care. You will work as part a
community team supported by a team leader and there will be opportunities to
develop and grow your palliative care expertise and undertake funded degree or
masters level study after 6 months.
This role will be full time although

Hub which operates a specialist adviceline, triage and rapid response service alongside community caseload teams aligned
to Primary Care Networks. The service operates 7 days a week from 7am-9pm.

- - NMC RGN Registration
- - GCSE Level (A C or 4 9) in English and Maths or equivalent

- - Willing to study at degree level

- - Degree in Palliative Care or equivalent or completing a Degree Pathway.
- - Independent Prescribing Qualification
- - Healthcare Assessment qualification
- - Community Nursing experience / qualification
