Main duties of the job
Cranbrook Primary Care Network wishes to
recruit up to 2 WTE Paramedics to
join our multi-disciplinary team. The
post-holder will work autonomously alongside the GP Practices in the PCN, acute
care teams and within the community at an advanced level of practice, using
their enhanced clinical assessment and treatment skills, to provide first point
of contact for patients presenting with undiagnosed problems, supporting the
rapid assessment of same-day presentations.
There is a strong focus on teamwork as
the paramedic role is the key interface between General Practice and community
services such as care homes, social services and community nursing teams.
The successful candidate
would be an experienced paramedic with additional post-graduate study at Level
7 from an accredited UK university and will be registered with the HCPC college
of paramedics.
This is an exciting
opportunity to develop your clinical practice in a dynamic Primary Care
environment. With support from our supervising teams who have a wealth of
experience as GPs and as trainers, appointees will be provided the opportunity
to develop their knowledge and shape the position.
About us
Our mission in Redbridge
is to strengthen, develop and support local general practice, to enable the
delivery of high quality care to local people. We are in the very fortunate
position whereby 4 of the Primary Care Networks (PCNs) in Redbridge are working
together as part of the Redbridge-wide GP FederationHealthbridge
Direct.
This
means we are able to build strong clinical teams within and across the PCNs. We
are now at the very start of an exciting journey of building a team of over 100
additional clinical roles to support and enable the delivery of services within
each of our 4 PCNs. We are building teams within and across the PCNs to enable
peer support and team working both within and across professions.
We
have a unique opportunity in Redbridge to create something special and we want
you to be part of it. We have the infrastructure, the relationships and the

practices, to outcomes for local populations, and to individual lives for
patients across Redbridge
