Job summary
Ideally, we would be looking for a full time role for 37.5hrs per week (1hr paid lunchbreak included) to join the team, but we understand that flexibility in the workplace is important so would consider candidates who wish to work part time.
You would be well supported by a team of doctors, nurses, administrators and managers and be fully trained so previous experience of general practice is not required. Good communication skills is essential to the role, along with ability to work well within a team and be motivated to provide excellent patient care.
Main duties of the job
- Book apppointments either via the website forms, calls or EMIS;
- Register new patients onto the system promptly;
- Filing - reports/results/documentation as required either paper form or electronically;
- Process all email correspondence and forward on any urgent notifications as soon as possible to process for the patient;
- Deal with general enquiries and undertake any other additional duties appropriate to the role as requested by the Practice Manager and Team.
