Job summary
We are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated Senior Implementation Manager to drive the delivery of innovation and implementation projects that can improve adolescent mental health across North London and the Essex Coast. The Senior Implementation Manager will be a dynamic manager and leader, driven by improving health and social care to solve the biggest health challenges in our communities.
While the role may evolve over time, in the first year the role will be focussed on improving adolescent mental health, focusing on predictive and early treatment interventions.

Main duties of the job
Senior Implementation Managers work within our Implementation function, which delivers proven interventions across our strategic priority areas. They lead significant implementation projects and hold responsibility for associated stakeholders, project teams and resources.
This role is suited to experienced project/programme managers, ideally with experience of delivering and managing innovation, improvement or transformation projects in the NHS or related health and social care services.

- Lead and manage the successful design and delivery of key programmes and large projects in strategic priority areas, including through:
- Managing and supporting project teams, enabling collaboration, structuring decision-making and delivery and supporting the development of individuals
- Planning a broad range of complex activities, spotting risks and opportunities early
- Manages complex relationships and influences wider organisation and external stakeholders
- Ensuring projects produce high-quality work, providing challenge, problem-solving and support where necessary
- Responsible for the design and development of major reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Lead transformational projects that often includes presenting sensitive or complex information
- Build and maintain excellent and effective working relationships with key stakeholders including senior patient and public representatives, local clinicians and partners across care settings
- Initiate, design and facilitate key meetings and workshops in support of implementation at ICS/CCG, ICP/borough, Primary Care Network (PCN) and practice level
- Capture and share lessons from implementation with the wider organisation and stakeholders across the UCLPartners geography
- Provide coaching and management support to staff leading implementation
- Support other teams delivering implementation programmes across UCLPartners for example teaching or devising staff development programmes across the organisation
- Work closely with other relevant national programmes to identify collaborative opportunities
- Proactively seek feedback from key stakeholders and, where relevant, make adjustments to the programme as required
- Ensure the involvement of patient and public representatives in programme design and delivery
- Ensure programme implementation is accessible and equitable and does not exacerbate health inequalities
- Coordinate evaluation and data collection including learning and insights for the programme
