Main duties of the job
Are you a customer focused experienced driver who does not shy from hands on physical work?Whether its a change of environment youre looking for or just a new role, or you could just have some time on your hands to commit to three days per week.If so, this could be the opportunity you have been looking for.
If you consider yourself a proficient and confident driver, this is a fantastic opportunity to join our trading team. You will be an ambassador for St Catherines Hospice, working in our local community supporting income generation for the hospice and our fourteen shops throughout Surrey and West Sussex.

Job responsibilities
You will support our trading team by ensuring a professional service which includes the collecting and delivering of furniture and other donations from the homes of our supporters and the delivery of purchased furniture from our shops and warehouse to our customers. In addition, you will also be delivering donated stock to shops and collecting unsalable goods for recycling.
Do you have a flexible, enthusiastic, can-do approach?Our ideal candidate will have previous van driving experience and a commitment to high standards of customer care. You will need to be able to safely handle large and/or heavy goods so stamina and enthusiasm for hands-on physical work is essential.Full training and manual handling will be provided.

- Ability to safely manage heavy loads and follow Manual Handling techniques

- Experience of route planning and organisation.
