We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive, innovative individual to join our friendly Marketing and Communications Team.

This is a rewarding, varied, hands-on role working with colleagues across the hospice where youll see the impact of your communication efforts.This post is offered on a full time basis, hybrid working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm.

Were seeking someone who has proven experience of running a successful social media presence, including reputation management and online community building and who is skilled in using social media monitoring tools and analytic packages to report on social media results.
Working as part of a small team, youll have the ability to creatively repurpose and best use our rich and varied content to engage donors, supporters and healthcare professionals across digital and print media. Youll also be able to work on multiple projects to deadline.

- Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent education
Desirable
- You may hold a marketing or communications qualification, for example from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
- Full driving licence and access to vehicle for business use.
Experience
Essential
- Marketing and communications experience gained for private or charity sectors.
- Proven track record of running a successful social media presence (including reputation management) and of online community building.
- Experience of proactively creating social media content.
- Skilled in using social media monitoring tools and analytics packages to clearly report on social media results to support objectives.
- Proven experience of implementing digital campaigns across social media channels, PPC and search.
- Confidence to unearth hospice related stories showcasing our services.
- Excellent writing ability.
- Excellent organisational, administrative, planning and time management skills.
- Understanding of how to communicate with different audiences with varying objectives.
- Creative and results driven
- Problem solver and flexible thinker.
- Ability to manage a variety of tasks concurrently.
Desirable
- Experience of working for a charity.
- Experience of charity retail.
- Video editing skills.
- Experience of systems including Sprout Social, Dotmailer, Canva, Google Analytics and Wordpress or other CMS.
- Knowledge of PPC and SEO.
- Experience of writing for press publication.
