The role of the Partnerships Officer is to inspire and engage high-value individual supporters, legacy pledgers, members, and major donor prospects to develop relationships that sustainably support St Catherines strategic priorities.

Investing in a strong Income Generation team is paramount to St Catherines, enabling us to innovate and develop activity to meet the needs of our communities from our new site at Pease Pottage. Qualifications

Essential

  • Educated to A level standard or equivalent, with grade A-C GCSE level in English and Maths.

Desirable

  • You may hold a sales, marketing or fundraising qualification, for example from the Chartered Institute of Fundraising or Corndel.
  • You may hold a membership of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising
  • Full driving licence and access to vehicle for business use.

Experience

Essential

  • Demonstrable experience of donor or customer care with the ability to build relationships with people at all levels.
  • The ability to influence and inspire others to give of their time, money and expertise.
  • Experience of identifying appropriate asks, time frames and approaches.
  • Experience of securing financial income.
  • Approachable with excellent interpersonal and team-working skills.
  • Excellent organisational, administrative, planning and time management skills.
  • Experience of producing written materials to a high standard.
  • Experience of liaising with the public by phone or face to face.
  • Self-reliant and able to take initiative.
  • Ability to manage a variety of tasks concurrently.
  • Experienced in working to agreed targets and KPIs.

Desirable

  • Previous experience of using a customer relationship, or donor management database (we use Raisers Edge).
  • Experience of working with volunteers.
  • Experience of securing five figure, gifts.
  • Knowledge of St Catherines geographical area and how this applies to local relationships.
  • Experience of working in a fundraising orientated environment.
  • Ability to report on income and expenditure.
  • Experience of using Microsoft Office packages and databases.
