Job summary

It is an exciting time to join Helen & Douglas House as we embark on our new 3-year strategy, where a Coporate Partnerships Executive will support the growth of the Corporate Partnerships income. In this role you will be responsible for managing and developing your own relationships with corporate partners. Youll have the opportunity to connect with local businesses who are passionate about supporting a local childrens hospice with the aim of supporting meaningful, long-term partnerships.

Thisis a hybrid 0.8FTE (32 hours a week)role with an average of 2 days per week spent working in our office in Cowley, Oxford. The pay range for this role is £31,994 -£35,923 full-time equivalent per annum (£25,595 -£28,738 pro rata per annum), depending on skills and experience. Full-time hours will be considered for the right candidate.

Main duties of the job

You will have autonomy to lead your own accounts, new business pipeline, and projects with guidance from the Corporate Partnerships Manager. Experience working in third sector corporate partnerships is desirable but not essential, there are many transferable skills from supporter stewardship and account management, for example, which will benefit this role.

  • Corporate fundraising or similar relevant fundraising or sales-based/client facing experience. Experience delivering exceptional supporter stewardship. Ability to deliver presentations to supporters, and to draft written documents including supporter letters and emails, briefs, and reports. Experience of using a CRM database.

Desirable

  • Experience of budgeting and reporting. Experience of working with volunteers.

Knowledge

Desirable

  • Knowledge of corporate fundraising partnerships including gifts in kind, cause related marketing, donations, pay roll giving, commercial participation agreements and corporate volunteering.

Skills

Essential

  • Ability to build and develop positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Effective verbal communication skills over the phone, in person and delivering presentations. Excellent ability to plan and manage a variety of projects to tight and conflicting deadlines. Have a creative, resilient, can-do attitude. Excellent attention to detail. IT literate, including Microsoft Office.
