Job summary

We are looking for a confident and talented Corporate Partnerships Manager to lead the Corporate Partnerships Team. This is a permanent full-time role (hybrid) with a competitive salary of £34,541 - £44,256 per annum. We operate a hybrid working arrangement with an average of 2 days per week in the office.

Income from corporate partnerships has seen steady growth over the past couple of years and we are now looking to build on this success. As the Corporate Partnerships Manager, you will lead on developing a pipeline of appropriate corporate partners to ask for support, as well as ensureexcellent account management is in place to maximise existing partnerships.

You will be creative, enthusiast, driven and possess strong business development skills, alongside an ability to simultaneously work on a number of different projects. You will feel comfortable developing relationships with partners via phone, email and in person; possessing excellent pitching skillsyou will lead the development of all pitches on behalf of the charity. You will be comfortable managing a range of partnerships and will have experience in account management and successfully developing relationships with corporate partners.

Main duties of the job

This role offers the right candidate a great opportunity to make a real impact in an extraordinary childrens hospice charity.The ideal candidate will have corporate fundraising experience, but candidates who have developed corporate relationships in the commercial sector and have a proven track record in business development would also be of interest.

Essential skills for the role:

  • Experience of securing and managing partnerships in a not-for-profit organisation or in a commercial environment.
  • Knowledge of the principles of business development and strategic partnerships.
  • Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills and be able to connect the funding needs of the corporate partner
  • Ability to write, present and pitch for support in a professional manner to potential corporate supporters.

  • Experience in developing and delivering business and operational plans.
  • Experience in developing and delivering complex income and expenditure budgets, including regular variance reporting and re-forecast and planning contingency action.
  • Experience of liaising with and influencing colleagues at all levels.

Desirable

  • Experience of line management and developing/mentoring others.
  • Experience of Donorflex or other similar relational database.
