Main duties of the job

During your working week, you will spend most of your time creating advertising assets for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube. You will collaborate closely with the Digital Campaign Manager, who manages and optimises all paid activities, to develop content variations for testing. Your advertising work will include a variety of projects, ranging from local events, raffles, legacy, recruitment, volunteering and retail campaigns.

To join the team, youll need a proven track record of paid content planning and creation with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience.

  • You know how to plan, create, and edit high-quality content across various formats.
  • You have independently created/ideated content and campaign ideas for either paid activities.
  • You know how to ensure the paid campaigns are as successful as possible by putting in place the relevant content, whether that is email automation or a set of bespoke landing pages.
  • You have proven experience in creating content based on the campaign needs - their objectives, messaging, and audience.
  • You have a proven track record in conversion optimisation through both email marketing and web.
  • You know how to dive deep into the analytics to see how to improve landing page conversions.
  • You have experience in market research, identifying personas and pain points and delivering solutions.
  • You know your way around Google Analytics.
  • You seek and take onboard feedback to ensure that content and assets are as valuable as they can be.

Strong attention to detail and a proven ability to manage priorities and projects. Ability to clearly communicate paid content strategy and work collaboratively with a team to deliver the plan. Understanding of website accessibility and cross-browser compatibility.

  • Experience working with charities. Experience with heat mapping software such as Hotjar or Microsoft Clarity.
