Job summary

St Johns Hospice support over four thousand people with life limiting illnesses and their families across North London each year

Our services include community care Hospice Home day services inpatient care social and welfare support therapies and bereavement support

We care for adults no matter their socio economic religious or residential status

Main duties of the job

  • Work closely with the Director of Fundraising to develop Major Donor and Corporate strategies, leading on their implementation and contributing to continual progression
  • Research and develop new income generation opportunities, leading on the production of applications
  • To work with colleagues within the fundraising team to proactively maximise opportunities from other income streams
  • Manage the Donor Engagement Executive providing clear objectives and reviews as well as effective and supportive line management
  • Be a spokesperson working closely with the Director of Fundraising to manage high level and complex donor relationships
  • Ensure the team work to the Institute of Fundraisings Code of Practice, GDPR and provide an excellent standard of supporter care
