Job summary

We are looking for a self-motivated, proactive and enthusiastic operational manager to drive the delivery of Phase 3 (Boosters) of the Covid Vaccination programme. The Operations Manager will ensure effective organisation, management, and delivery of the Covid Vaccination Service.

Main duties of the job

The Covid Vaccination Service has a number of components, outlined below. The postholder will be responsible for managing all aspects of this service, working with the Team Leader role and other team members as appropriate.

  • Clinics on site: primarily Tessa Jowell Health Centre and Lister Heath Centre
  • Practice based delivery
  • Delivery to housebound patients
  • Residents within care/residential homes
  • Patient outreach to maximise uptake in different areas/groups

About us

Improving Health Limited (IHL) is a GP federation uniting all 18 member GP practices within South Southwark, proving care to approximately 146,000 patients. Most recently, IHL has been supporting the PCN to deliver the Covid Vaccination Service DES in South Southwark.
