Job summary
East Riding Partnership (ERP) is a partnership between ADS and Humber Teaching NHS trust. It has three hubs, Hull, Bridlington and Goole. It is multi-disciplinary team led by a consultant and provides treatment services in the community. The services include aftercare, young people, community rehabilitation programme, a specialist supporting image and performing enhancing drugs/steroids and a team supporting service users and carers through a team of volunteers and peer mentors.It is a very exciting time to be working in the drug and alcohol field. With significant new money and new career opportunities being created.Working as part of the central hub team the Intensive Engagement post will provide advice and support to individuals admitted to hospital. The successful candidate will conduct an assessment of risk and need and engage them to access the treatment system or other community services.
Main duties of the job
OBJECTIVES OF POST: To engage people with substance misuse problems to enter treatment services. To provide advice, assessment and brief interventions along with some structured key working and make onward referrals to specialist services.
