Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a well
organised and self-motivated individual to join Nimbuscare in a new role as our
Technical Data Officer.
The post holder will work with a range of key
stakeholders to support digital functionality and promote the importance in
gaining in depth awareness and knowledge of how digital applications can
deliver improved business processes and outcomes for users, including patients
and clinicians.
This post would suit individuals who are
confident in the use of Microsoft Office, have extremely strong Microsoft excel
skills, and have a detailed understanding and working knowledge of NHS Patient Clinical
Record Systems, in particular SystmOne.
This role will support teams within our
organisation and across our member GP practices, to ensure effective
adaptation, utilisation and data quality on our Patient clinical systems
SystmOne. You will work with the various clinical teams and departments to identify
data quality issues and resolve as required. You will support both the Project team and
Operations team, working with partner organisations to create and run necessary
clinical searches and reporting as required.
Main duties of the job
To be the organisations expert in SystmOne, the
go-to person for digital applications and the trainer and mentor for all team
members needing to use NHS clinical systems;
To effectively work with key stakeholders when
dealing with queries in relation to systems and/or data quality issues and
delivering appropriate solutions;
Carefully analyse data to produce clear accurate
findings;
To act as the lead on all aspects of data
quality;
To support with operational reporting
requirements;
Manage the data documentation from initiation to
completion;
To identify any areas of improvement to limit poor
data quality;
Apply your knowledge of theory to implement
practical solutions for stakeholders;
Support stakeholders in their understanding of summarising and
coding in relation to digital applications;
Support
clinical teams in recording and coding patient and clinical information in
their patient care systems and assist in the implementation of consistent
approaches to data including the use of templates and structured data sets;
Maintain and develop data quality documentation producing
procedure flow diagrams, process documents etc.;
Demonstrate an awareness of project management techniques, and an
appreciation of how they are applied in the environment;
Demonstrate an awareness of organisational data governance, and
how it works in relation to other organisational governance structures.
