Job summary
As a Project Manager, the post holder will work
as part of a dynamic team in delivering a number of complex projects in an
agile project management environment.
The post holder will be
an experienced project manager. They should be motivated to function
independently, using initiative to manage their own workload without close
supervision in order to work to agreed timescales.
They will form part of a
team to support projects according to overall strategic priorities and resource
needs
Interviews for this role will be held w/c 12th February.
Main duties of the job
Ensure
multiple projects are driven forward, whilst maintaining direction;
To
manage projects within the project framework and governance structure;
Ensure
all core project documentation is completed in line with project methodologies;
Liaise
with a wide range of clinical, administrative and managerial staff to support
the delivery of projects;
To
undertake detailed risk assessments on all projects and ensure that all risks
and issues are logged and escalated;
Deliver
regular reports on caseload to Senior Project Manager;
Meet with potential and current project clients
to assess their needs and define project requirements, acceptance criteria and
project timelines;
Provide
coordination of and participate in relevant steering groups and provide project
advice, expertise and support where requested;
Work
with members of the Team to investigate the causes of any variance from plan
and proactively contribute to the implementation of solutions;
To
work in partnership with Finance to collate budgetary information relevant to
each project;
As
part of the wider team, to review working practices and suggest improvements,
ensuring continual quality improvement;
Required
to comply with all relevant national and local statutory and mandatory
requirements including Health and Safety, Infection Control.
