Job summary

We are seeking to appoint a Project Support Officer to work as part of a dynamic team, to support the Project Manager to achieve the objectives for multiple projects and support the activities of the PMO (Project Management Office Team).

This key role will provide support to the Project Manager for administrative and other tasks as directed. They will have proven experience in a project support role or similar area of work.

The successful candidate will possess a high degree of computer literacy including comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to analyse and present information in an appropriate format. The post holder will use initiative to manage multiple priorities, meet timescales and prioritise their own workload.

Main duties of the job

Co-ordinate ad-hoc and / or regular reports and presentations as appropriate

To support the Project Manager and wider team with projects within the project framework and governance structure

To assist in the development and maintenance of the standards of project management, templates and processes within the team

Support the team to ensure the portfolio of tasks is planned, managed and delivered effectively

Organise relevant steering group meetings by coordinating diaries of key stakeholders

Monitoring, recording and reporting of actions & risks to the Project Manager as required

Ensure effective communication across the team in understanding timescales and milestones which impact the project plan

Act as a reference point for project queries
