Health Care Assistant (HCA)

Job summary

We are seeking to appoint a number of HCAs to support the delivery of the various Nimbuscare Contracts, including;

Improving Access

NHS Health Checks

Flu Vaccinations

You will need to provide a high standard of care by attending to routine tasks such as taking bloods and applying wound care dressings.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills with the ability to respond to different communication needs of patients. They will also work effectively as part of a team. High quality patient care should be at the forefront of your expertise.

These roles can be offered on a flexible basis (zero hours / contractual) to suit you.

Main duties of the job

Undertake wound care dressings and other clinical tasks as required

Carry out baseline observations such as pulse oximitery, blood pressure , temperature, pulse and record timings accurately

Trained and competent in blood taking

Ear care and syringing

Vaccinations flu

In accordance with NHS Health Checks, gather lifestyle data from patients , patient education and promotion of health wellbeing

Use appropriate Infection Prevention and Control procedures
