Job summary
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and professional administrator with attention to detail who will work with the philanthropy fundraiser to support the solicitation and administration of large gifts to support the work of the hospice.
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £27,337 - £29,987, Hospice Band 4, Competency Based Framework
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours over 4-5 days
Based at: Cross-site (Heald Green and Little Hulton) with some home working

The successful candidate will be subject to a Standard/Enhanced DBS Check, the cost of which is covered by the hospice. Any post holder within the organisation will be expected to undertake safeguarding training appropriate to their role and adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures. All staff must work in accordance with their statutory roles and responsibilities in relation to safeguarding in accordance with the Working Together to Safeguarding Children 2023, The Care Act 2014, and Prevent Duty 2015.

Main duties of the job
You will provide excellent support with the hospices legacy programme, looking after administration work to ensure income comes to the hospice in a timely manner.
You will supporting the Philanthropy Fundraiser with other legacy workstreams, including support with any promotional and cultivation work
With great communication skills and a creative mind set you will be able to develop strong working relationships with key internal and external contacts.
Youll be part of a vibrant team dedicated to making a difference to the lives of people living with life limiting illnesses.
You'll be at the heart of our fundraising success, helping to ensuring vital income streams are safeguarded and increased.
Your work will enable the hospice to provide world-class care and support for those affected by a terminal diagnosis in Greater Manchester.
