Are you an experienced, flexible, forward thinking Healthcare Assistant looking for a new challenge or career development?
The newly created role of Senior Healthcare Assistant at Vernova Healthcare represents a unique opportunity to be part of specialist community services delivering Diabetes and Endocrinology care to patients of Eastern Cheshire.
You will support weekly outpatient clinics, patient education sessions and diabetes technology clinics. There is also a requirement to undertake home visits within the Eastern Cheshire footprint.
You will be passionate about providing the highest standards of care and patient experience to service users, carers and families.
Working hours will be 30-37.5 per week across 4/5 days. Although the majority of the working hours will be delivered during Mon-Fri core hours, there is likely to be a requirement to work until 7.30pm on Thursday evenings.

Main duties of the job
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will work alongside specialist clinical colleagues to deliver integrated diabetes and endocrinology care to patients.
Supporting patient centred care with a focus on holistic approach whilst providing the best possible patient experience.
The successful candidate will work in an effective and organised manner, demonstrating excellent time management and organisational skills to deliver person-centred care ensuring clear, concise, accurate and legible records are always kept.
You will need to be confident working without direct supervision, delivering care independently in line with the a defined plan of care, within the parameters of practice, accessing specialist advice when needed.
The post-holder will be required to undertake regular home visits as directed by the Specialist Diabetes Nurse.

We are looking to appoint an experienced Healthcare Assistant who is as passionate about diabetes and endocrinology care as much as we are!
Our recent (January 2023) CQC inspection outcome was a 'Good' rating with 'outstanding' for Leadership.
