Job summary

The post holder will be part of a small friendly and professional support team that are responsible for providing administrative support to staff in the organisation, which provides primary mental health care to patients in the Salford area.

As of September 2022 the rate of the banded salaries of Agenda for Change are due to rise, Band 3 will rise to £21,730 per annum. This will then be pro-rata for the part-time hours of this role.

  • Sound experience within an administrative role.
  • At least 12 months experience of working in an office environment providing general office duties i.e. filing, call taking, scanning, note taking etc.
  • Previous record and diary management experience.
  • Responsible for Outgoing and incoming patient calls showing compassion, empathy, patience and respect.

Desirable

  • Experience within Healthcare or a customer support environment.

Knowledge and Skills

Essential

  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills including an excellent telephone manner.
  • Strong IT skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Work flexibly in support of the organisation.
  • Demonstrate a positive and professional manner at all times.
  • Able to communicate at all levels.
