Main duties of the job

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated manager to join our team at the Lincolnshire PCN Alliance. You will play a crucial role in managing internal projects, overseeing communications and engagement initiatives, as well as contributing to the development of PCNs and the PCN Alliance. Your expertise and strategic thinking will be essential in driving successful outcomes, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across various stakeholders. The PCN Alliance Executive team and the Clinical Directors and Business Managers from Lincolnshires 14 PCNs work together with partners across the system to design and develop integrated working to better address the health needs of our communities. You will work closely with the Executive Team coordinate management operations and to plan and deliver operationally focused objectives, building the alliance as an organisation and supporting PCNs to develop.

About us

With Primary Care Networks (PCNs) now in their fifth year and having emerged from the challenges of the pandemic, we have seen PCNs able to truly focus on Population Health Management, partnership working with local colleagues and delivering initiatives that have really made a difference to people across Lincolnshire.

The 14 Lincolnshire PCNs need representation in the system this is different to General Practice representation which is the role of the Lincolnshire LMC. The PCN Alliance aims to work collaboratively with the LMC to ensure both are represented and we work together to our common interests. The Alliance provides one point of contact and collaboration for our system partners (Integrated Care Board, NHS Trusts, Local Authorities) for matters relating to Primary Care working at scale and with partners.

4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project execution and alignment with organizational objectives.

Communications and Engagement:

1. Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies to effectively engage stakeholders and promote awareness of key initiatives and projects.

2. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure clear and consistent messaging.

3. Plan and execute various communication activities

4. Monitor and evaluate the impact of communication efforts, making adjustments and improvements as needed.

Primary Care Network (PCN) Development:

1. Contribute to the development and expansion of Primary Care Networks, working closely with healthcare professionals and other relevant stakeholders.

2. Provide project management support to PCN development initiatives, ensuring alignment with Lincolnshires strategies and objectives.

3. Facilitate collaboration and coordination between PCNs, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices across the network.

4. Monitor and evaluate the performance of PCNs, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions.

Governance:

1. Assist in the development and implementation of governance frameworks and processes to ensure effective decision-making, accountability, and compliance.

2. Contribute to the continuous improvement of governance practices, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing necessary changes.
